Challenge's wide surface pretreatment product base, along with the technical expertise of our sales and technical staff, enables us to create customer-specific pretreatment packages.
We offer a wide variety of alkaline cleaners designed to meet the most challenging industry needs. Most products operate economically at low concentrations and temperatures. Products are low foaming and are ideally suited for use with automatic control equipment.
The CLEAN N COAT series of products simultaneously clean the surface and deposit a highly uniform iron phosphate coating that inhibits corrosion and improves the adhesion and durability of the paint. These products can be used in either the first stage of a two or three stage system, or in the third stage of a five stage system. Products are also available for use in high pressure spray wands. Like our cleaners, these products are low foaming and are ideally suited for use with automatic control equipment.

Our newest addition to the pretreatment line is our Challenge Zirconate technology, a phosphate alternative that operates at ambient and produces very
little sludge.
Our final seal rinses are designed to meet the corrosion resistance needs of the industry. Most of these final rinses operate economically at low concentrations and temperatures and are ideally suited for use with automatic control equipment.
